![]() ![]() Revya also becomes this during one over time due to the course of the story, taking on some of Gig's traits. * DeadpanSnarker: ** DeadpanSnarker: Gig, baby! ** who is by far the biggest snarker among the cast. ** Subverted for souls of any living creature they kill, ]. The World Eaters also devour the cycle, well, bye. Any that don't want are guaranteed to put you back in stay dead. There's a few more big characters pulling strings from behind the scenes, but that's the big picture.* DeaderThanDead: If the The Masters of Life are tasked with ensuring deceased souls enter the cycle of reincarnation. Sorry if this is rambly and vague, i played this like 15 years ago it feels like. The other thing to note is what happens to the side characters changes on each path. i don't remember.? (I think you just literally eat everything, including the gods, and gig) ![]() The ending splits here too, you can either go full demon and your childhood friend stays trapped forever with you, or Gig remembers his real purpose finally and massive remorse for what he's done and then. In the Demon Path, both gods realize Gig (and you) are a bigger problem than either of them realized, and need to be taken out. In one path, you stop the God that started this whole mess, but Gig doesn't remember what was done to him - that's ok because he grows as a person and learns not to be a murderous psychopath. There's more finer points but feel free to ask but you might not have a lot because even i feel the story gets jumbled up with it's explanations.ĭepending on the path you take, things are a bit different, but the coles notes is, one of the gods got a bit selfish, brainwashed gig to harvest all the souls for him, and things got a bit out of control. You end up defeating the world eaters and travel to Drazil to kill the "evil gods" and try to return some sort of order to the worlds. You don't need to die when you cross between worlds.) Haephnes raises the soul for some time and then sends it back into the world. (Hapehness was raising the soul because she knew any child of Median's had to be strong. The main character Revya was born in a Drazillian image because their soul did under go the reincarnation cycle. This is obviously a huge problem and is why there is an evil group called Yesterwind who kidnaps and sells children. This is because a lot less souls are returning to the world of Haephnes. This works because of the "reincarnation cycle," a main plot point that gets brushed off is that a lot less children are being born. Drazil then sent Gig into Haephnes to kill everyone and gave him the world eaters to help. To do this he brainwashed Gig(His orginal name is Vigilance) and turned him into a rampaging murder. Gig was originally a "good god" but the main God of Drezil (am observer so he rules all of that world) had a plan to steal all of the souls from the other world in order to create one "pure" world for him to rule. I don't belive we ever meet Ashur as good existence is far beyond our comprehension.) When someone dies in one world their soul reincarnats into the other world and this is an endless cycle. 5 gods, 2 observers who are stronger than the 5, and then the great God Ashur. Each world has gods that reign over them. Most of the main story happens in Haephnes. Like others have said not sure which part you need help with my I'll throw some stuff here since you beat it. ![]()
